This thread title makes this disc sounds like hot flippy garbage. Regardless of what the disc does.

Agreed, the title(used by Westside on their press releases) isn't very good to describe a wind fighting driver.

For what it's worth, it wasn't Westside who came up with that "headline", it was the title of the PDGA announcement of its approval. Presumably the author of the announcement is responsible for the somewhat misleading words.

Yes.

It is as advertised...very overstable fairway driver. Comfortable grip, reliable hard fade.

Official retail release is this Friday in Tournament and VIP plastic.

Holla! What would you compare it to? Are we taking Firebird here or more like a Spark?

I've been pumped to try this for a couple months.

I'm hoping it'll fill the FB slot in my bag, I'm down to only a few FAF FB's now.

More or less overstable than a Felon? How does it compare to a Firebird?

A touch more overstable than a Felon, but I will grant that the Felon I was throwing prior to replacing it with an Ahti was a bit beat up so it might be the same if both are brand new.

It's been a long time since I've thrown a Firebird, but I'd say it's comparable.
