Default Perfect Pairs

In the recent "Comet or Other" thread, Three Putt commented on how well the Meteor and Buzzz pair together, as well as the Comet and the Roc (KC Pro version).

Question: Which discs would you pair together in each of the following categories?

1. Putters
2. Midranges
3. Fairway Drivers
4. Distance Drivers

Put another way, if you could only use two discs in each of the above categories, what would be your "Perfect Pairs"?

Good question.

1. Putters - I putt with the Classic Warden, upshots with the Fluid Warden.
1a. Approachers - I'm adding this category as separate and distinct from putters. I have a Mirage, Star Stud, Star Aviar3, and a Harp. If I were only carrying two, it's have to be the Av3 and Stud.

2. Midranges - I only carry two: Titanium Buzzz, and the Pink Panther.

3. Fairway Drivers - tough to pick two, but probably the Star TL and the GL River.

4. Distance drivers - Star Tern for max d; then a more overstable driver for the wind.

Scales and Wizards are a match made in heaven.

Scale covers wind, hyzers and Forehand
Wizards for everything else

Logical pairings within brands;
Putters - Aviar and Gator
Mids - Roc3 and Mako3
Fairways - Teebird and Leopard
Distance - Destroyers and Shrykes

Personally;
Putters - Scale for upshots/driving/wind putts, Serpent for putting and anhyzer approach
Mids - MD3 for stable, M4 for understable
Fairway - Eagle and FD
Distance - PD for stable, TD for understable

Putters (I'm assuming for throwing not putting): Pro Pig and XT Colt
Mids: Seasoned DX Roc and Prime Verdict
Fairways: Star TL and Star Thunderbird
Distance: Fresh Pro Destroyer and GStar Shryke (or I could easily just carry Destroyers)

If putters are non-putting putters, than through fairways this is actually my bag. I've been carrying 2 driving putters, only 2 mids, and only 2 fairways for the last season and a half or so. These are the pairings I have settled on.

Putters: Baseline Tank, Ultrium Jokeri
Mids: Tournament Tursas, QMS
Fairways: G* Leopard, Ultrium Respecti
Drivers: Beat champ PFN SW, Ultrium Titan
