Default Well I love my new discs

I bought a Champion Beast, a DX Roc, and a RPro Dart putter.

The Roc is amazing because of have straight it flies. I start my first throw with a sidearm throw and then go to backhand from then on out. The Champion Beast is great but I almost wish I had something where I could throw further and more straight with my sidearm throw. I took suggestions from you all and I wanted a Champion Driver and the Beast was the only one available at the store I went to.

Any other recommendation if I switch for my style?

Err, anything more overstable will help with sidearm issues. So, Wraiths, Orcs, Destroyers etc. I personally like Firebirds and Starfires for sidearm. So, yeah, anything with fire in the name. I hear the Flick is good but I've never thrown one. You can get by with your Beast if you learn to hyzer flip, there are some threads out there on this.

On a side note, I just initiated my bro into the wonderful world of Rocs, I think he'll settle in nicely.

i sidearm a champion boss. i can get some nice distance out of it. but none of my other friends can sidearm it... i guess its just cause i have a strange throw.
btw.... replace that dx roc with a pro roc. trust me it is well worth the money. the dx will die fast if you use it for what it is made for. the pro roc is the best for the money. trees dont slaughter it

that's the point of the roc though. at first, it's a great overstable mid-range, and then it wears into a straight shooter, and then a nice turnover disc.
but yeah, if he wants to keep it overstable for a long time, pro's the way to go

yeah i do hear you there. i have one of both in my bag. i mainly use my dx to slice it almost vertical to the ground and back in to the left for a really good approach. i dont use it for much else though because it hurts my hand to hold it. it has a lot of rough spots.

I agree with midnightbiker. I use a sidearm a lot and am switching from throwing my valk most of the time to a pro wraith, love it.

I don't throw sidearm, but I have been working on it and I have found the two best discs that I have used so far for it are a Star Wraith and a Star TL.
