The Bard is much more Roc feeling than the Verdict ... higher profile, deeper, more dome. A little slower, slows down quicker, more obvious feeling bead (at least to me), flys a little slower to me but perhaps a bit more LSS than the Verdict. If I had been throwing Rancho Rocs and were getting into Lat/DD/WS - this would be the disc I'd probably gravitate towards; I've always preferred lower profile, flatter, and smaller beads so the Verdict is more my thing. For me the Bard is a 4.5/4.5/0/3 - while a typical Opto Verdict is 5/4.5/0/2.5 and the Prototype Verdicts flying more like 5/4.5/0/2. Based on early feedback from people I think the Bard is going to be popular - particularly with people just coming into the brand.

Got to throw a couple of them today. I can say that from the limited time with them they seem to be what I am hoping for. A little deeper than the verdict and more stable all around. They feel more like the Warship than the truth and it has a slight dome to it which feels better to me. I would compare the flight as being between the Wasp and the Drone. It's not quite as overstable as the drone which I think is a good thing. Can't wait until March to get these in the bag.

Dang, that Bard is one sexy beast. Nice to hear some reviews, Almost sounds like you could bag a Bard and Verdict. Especially since my Verdicts are starting to turn in a good headwind.

I hope they will stand up to a headwind.

That looks nice- anyone know where I can purchase one?

Edit: just saw the release date. I'll be sure to grab one in march.

That should be a nice OS complement to the Warship.

The Westside Bard is our first overstable midrange. Actually the Bard may be the most overstable midrange disc of all Trilogy family within speed classes 5-6. The Westside Bard will be released in VIP and Tournament plastics on 1 March 2015. Flight numbers are 5,4,0,3
