I want a Rhyno in KC Pro plastic!

But I would try an XT too.

I like my g* a lot! Although I just got a RGD chalky scale that flys a very similar approach line (I haven’t really gave it a good test for driving yet). I think it’s slightly faster and glider than the rhyno, but the chalky base plastic feels really good, and it seems to find the basket. Especially in the cold, definitely better grip and still holds some flex as we get into a proper winter here.

I picked up a couple of newer gummy Champ Rhynos that feel awesome. They seem a bit straighter and glidier than my older champs and lusters though. They're flying closer to 2//2/0/2 or even 1. I don't mind it, but I went OB a couple of times today because they didn't hook up like I was expecting.

I think a Rhino in Metal flake Champion to make a slightly more beefy version of the Rhino would be cool.

Most discs made in Glow Champion plastic seems to be more flat then the standard Champion counterpart. I will get those Glow disc for my new Champion discs assuming it is made in that plastic, as a more domed Champion plastic I have to throw those harder to get the initial flight going for discs faster then the true midranges. The only Driver I have that I can use with a mid dome, is a Discraft disc.

Question for old school rhyno experts - I recently received a couple of DX Ontario Rhynos in a trade. They are PFN and have Ontario tooling on the bottom - did not notice if there were patent #s or not.

Noticed that my newer champ rhyno has rancho tooling. Anything special about DX Ontarios or do they throw the same as current run DX?

I like the older DX Ontario PFN Rhynos. They are more OS... but not drastically so.
Ranchos are fine for DX Rhynos... but given the choice I will always take an Ontario.
Patent #'s should be guaranteed on there.

Fun point of interest for Rhyno patent #'s:

As far as I know, any Rhyno with the Ontario tooling should have the standard patent number tooling on the bottom of the flight plate AND a different patent # tooled into the top of the thumb track.

Tanks also have the patent number on the thumbtrack - it took me a while of throwing them to even notice. I have one that is so used it's completely worn off.
