I love the FLICK, great disc, odd for sure, but great for a lot of tricky shots. Currently I'd say the A1, Roadrunner (a lot of tomahawks) and Firebird are the discs I use for oddjobs. But the Flick is one of the best, I just used it less often than the Firebird, so I stuck with that, but i still own a few, they are great for anhyzer forehands

A champion Daedalus or glow katana will do pretty much everything. I've used either a couple times as my only driver for good practice.

Justice and Firebird come to mind but for my game they are much more than utility.

I'm not sure I agree with this definition of utility disc, main because it contradicts itself. If it doesn't have a clearly defined purpose, then why would you being reaching for it on a "very specific shot." I think most "utility" discs do have a very clearly defined purpose, just one that isn't used often. I think maybe I would define it as 'a disc used to execute a very specific type of shot or shots that aren't often needed during a normal round.'

I think most people know exactly what types of shot or shots they would use a Firebird for, even if they don't use those types of shots very often. By this definition, something like a Firebird is NOT a utility disc for someone who forehands and uses Firebirds on a lot of fairway shots, but it IS a utility disc for someone who primarily backhands, but might throw the occasional forehand or skip shot with a Firebird. I actually like the term "situational disc" better than "utility disc" because I think it is clearer. However, the term is probably too ingrained now to change.

I don't know if I have a utility disc. My first thought was the Zone. I use it in utility situations, but I use it more as a normal mid. It's also not the only disc I throw in utility situations. Every disc in my bag can help/has helped me out of trouble.

I'll still say Zone. There are rounds where I throw it more than my putting putter.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Probably my uber overstable Destroyer and my Pig are the most "situational" discs in my bag. I'd probably be more likely to use them to get out of trouble than any other disc. However, I actually end up using them pretty often just on regular shots as well. I approach with Pigs a lot because they're very accurate on hyzer approaches. So really currently I don't have any single disc in my bag that's strictly situational and doesn't get used fairly often in regular rounds for routine shots.

Glow champ whippet X. All the beef and bricktastic qualities of a FAF firebird in a much more throwable rim size/speed
