If you are wanting to stay in the Discraft/DGA family, I would suggest a SP Sail. Super high glide with good turn, but give it air, and it will come back.
SP is close to Z plastic.

I throw destroyers and nukes around 360' with an anhyzer flex shot release. Thanks.
Crank. Tim Barham's 2018 swirly tour ESPs are nice, but there are still plenty of the 2017 tour series Z online. Flies like the production run; looks like hand selected awesomeness.

Have you tried a Nuke SS? The one I have is truly understable and should be able to be hyzer flipped in the right hands. Since you already throw a Nuke?

If he flips a Nuke to flat though, I think he won't get the SS to come back. It'll flip and keep going. Still worth a shot, and is a great normal release roller.

Probably right. It's a useless disc for me (nuke ss) since I can't really depend on it to come back either. But hyser flips are not my forte...I thought it could work in more experienced hands? I prefer to throw flat or close to flat and let the disc do what it does.

Crank is a good option, maybe the best if you can find the right one. Nuke SS is really flippy, but a good Z Nuke SS is a tailwind S curve master (needs TONS of hyzer).

I'd just go with a Champ Tern though... that's what I currently bag. So money.

Star tern won't come back. Stick with champ.
