That actually could be an interesting combination...it may not be a ridiculous meathook. Something that starts out on the very stable/moderately overstable side and breaks in to fly like a Pro Destoyer.

It might be just what it should be: a faster PD

well I spoke to mark molnar and he's thrown it. He said the protos were ridiculously beefy then the new runs were a longer, faster, more overstable xcal. These are supposedly guaranteed not to turn into a headwind ( star and champ) the p will break into something nice. My guess is a longer pd-ish disc hopefully.

A wahoo is a type of fish...
When I was a kid we used to fishing a lot and my dad told me they were called "wahoo" because when you hooked one up, you yelled "wahoo". They provide one hell of a fight.

The Wahoo is apparently the fastest fish and this disc will float.

It is indeed an xcal wing with an anhyzer top, but the wing is modified, so that it's one mm wider, making it the same width (speed) as the groove. So a faster, supposedly more reliable xcal. Too much for me in premium, but beating in a p-line should be interesting.

The anhyzer top seems to make discs less overstable, the PD is the firebird wing with that top and it's nowhere near firebird overstable. I would bet that this disc will have a lot more glide and less fade than the xcal.

The rush is an anhyzer top with a roadrunner bottom, yet it's definitely more stable. All Discmania discs aren't simply anhyzer top + innova wing, they do other, small modifications too. The PD for example took 4 molds to get it where they wanted it.
