Please don't tell me DD is seriously making their #1 FPO player work the store/warehouse through the winter. Future DD sponsorships, read the fine print about the off season. wow....

Making? Why the hell would think they're making her do it?

She has worked at the retail store in Emporia since she enrolled at Emporia State (before she decided to tour full time). What is wrong with her going back to that during the off-season if she wants to do so?

I mean, she's there because her family is there. Her mom works in the store. Her dad works at the distribution center. Maybe she, I don't know, enjoys hanging out at the store and pulling orders? Seems like a fun job to me (of course, half my job is working in a disc golf retail store so maybe I'm biased).

In other DD news, I hope they do have another significant signing coming because I know they are losing another player, though this one isn't a big name yet.
Heard a rumor Zach Arlinghaus is considering leaving. That would be a hit on their future.

Yep....Sounds like great fun and I'm guessing all of the elite FPO players would jump at a chance to work in the store/warehouse, or maybe some would just prefer to jump...ship.

I see nothing wrong at all with working in a warehouse. I supervise one myself (for the vending machine industry). Good for her not feeling like an honest day's work is beneath her!

To be clear, she's not at the warehouse. She's at the retail store downtown.

Not that there's anything wrong with working at a warehouse, but it's important to differentiate because she's doing more than just pulling internet orders. She's interacting with folks who come into the store to shop in person. That's not a bad promotional tool for herself or the DD brand in general.

Not to mention that Emporia is a disc golf mecca with tons of great courses to keep her sharp. Sounds like a perfect offseason to me.

Lol. Paige Bjerkaas has worked at the DD store for a long time. Nothing to see here.
