Default How to throw 400' - an instructional

http://youtu.be/ktknoZUWsR8

Go to the course in 50-60 mph winds during a monsoon and sandstorm. Face the basket. Turn around. Putt at the sky.

I underestimated the wind. The basket was less than 200' away. I was further away past the basket after that throw than before it.

I was at the practice field a couple of days ago just before some storms rolled in. A whirlwind starts to spin up just behind me and as it was moving forward I thought for sure it was going to pick up a disc or two I had thrown and were sitting about 200 feet away. Luckily it didn't have enough strength until it got about a hundred feet further past where it really whipped up some tarps covering a couple of boats in the storage lot.

I did something like this trying to play a very strong cross wind which was rolling in before a big storm. Threw the disc up expecting it to carry a little and I never saw it again.

Great video!
