Default Chainstar Lite — releasing late 2017

Discraft is promoting their new target during Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Calling the thing a chainstar lite. $149.99

The picture is small, and the caption even smaller yet. I believe it says:
Tough new portable
Priced for any budget
-strong 7mm cage structure
-protective powder coating
-24 heavy zinc-coated chains
-easy assembly; no bolting required
-available in black, blue, red, silver

Won’t be buying one, as there’s been a guy recently on eBay selling new permanent-mount Lat64 probasket E2s for $80 shipped. In other words, my disc fund is dried up at the moment.

If someone picks one up, please post a review.

Looks like the Black Hole Pro with a slightly different cage shape.
And that's not a bad thing.

This guy is getting to the end of his supply. However, he did recently sell 18 baskets for $900 and $500 freight. Whoever bought that lot got a course for $78 per basket!

Here’s a shot of my Cousin’s backyard target. He bought one, I bought more than I’m willing to admit

Anybody have any updates on this basket? I've got two MVP Black Hole Pro baskets and have been very happy with them so far, but the Chainstar Lite looks nice and I'm curious about the differing basket shape. Only $5 difference between them, so thinking of picking one up as my next basket. Plus the wire is a little thicker gauge, which never hurts in regards to longevity.

I have a Chainstar Lite that I received for Christmas (bought it for myself with the free misprint putter pack). I am a newbie and this is my first basket so I don't have another portable to compare it to. Basic design/assembly seems to be the same as the MVP/Axiom basket. The base does have 4 legs and basket shape is different as you noted.

I live in Michigan and have it setup in the basement right now and can only putt from a max of 15' but is catches close to what I would expect an on course basket to.

The only nit picks I have is that the joins on some of the chain links are not completely flush leaving a bit of a rough edge. Shipping weight of the box was also like 50 lbs.- so while it is portable moving it takes some work.

If you have specific questions let me know and I can try to answer.

Default Still the Craziest deal I ever heard of!

Hey dark clark, this is still the best deal I have ever heard about. These usually sell for close

to $400 bucks american each. You essentially got 5 for the price of 1! These are designed for

permanent outdoor courses. They sold for far less than el cheapo junk baskets. Amazing, how are they working out?
