You might want to consider these:

http://www.alltimetools.com/p-1144-b...ite-clips.aspx

They're essentially rebranded GelStrapz and include a cell phone pocket. I wish I would've seen these before I bought my GelStrapz. Based on some other posts, prerube and jrawk (among others) also use these and seem to like them). Plus they're at least $10 cheaper than GelStrapz and Quads. I think Home Depot (maybe Lowes) carries them.

Edit: Amazon has them WICKED-cheap (free shipping too): http://www.amazon.com/Brown-Bag-Comp.../dp/B000WEMFK2

I have those and love them! I did not pay $35 either, I think Aec Hardwares also carry them. I have been to Lowes and Homedepots in 4 states and have only Florida carried them.

You can try these, after shipping they are around $13.

The only issue I have had is that they sent me the "Y" style strap on accident, they are still comfy and work great, just hard to get disc out due to the "Y" shape.

Probably the cheapest you will find.

They have shocks in 2 separate areas on each strap, a cell phone holder and a spare carabiner. The hooks also swivel 360. the gel is pretty thick too.
