Only "new" disc I threw this year was the GG Star Sonic, and I loved it

Not me but I know some of my buddies who forked out 50 bucks for a cloud breaker earlier in the year and are disappointed that the disc didn't make them go pro.

I haven't thrown a Cloud Breaker, but I have thrown a regular star DD3. Nice driver. Actually, the DD3 is kinda what I was thinking the Kong would be like.

DD3 is a fine driver, but it isn't really revolutionary, and it isn't suddenly going to add 40' to your drives.

I've only thrown proto Kong's not the production Zeus. The protos were too flippy and undependable for me.

I was a little disappointed with the Raptor. Just didn’t feel good in the hand like the Tracker does.

The Malta didn’t make me move away from Wasps either.

Malta was not supposed to get people to move away from the Wasp, more the OS type Wasp to get people a Wasp OS like disc so they did not have to use a Buzz OS if they did not like the mold. I think that Paul McBeth did not like the Buzz OS, no bead to it and wanted a Wasp like disc that was as OS as the Buzz OS. Though Paul McBeth Can use the Buzz as we have seen in tournaments this past 2019 season, I think for an OS midrange disc with the turn 0 and at least a Fade 3 it seems that Paul McBeth has to use a beaded disc that has a flat top.

At least I feel seeing the flight on YouTube the Malta is like a Buzz OS in terms of flight, just a hair slower.

Here's a handy disc release chart from the PDGA if, like me, you can't remember when discs were approved:
https://www.pdga.com/technical-stand...fication/discs

I liked most of the new discs I threw, especially Discmania's expanded lines. If I had to be negative, I would say the Spring Ox was the least used of the Active discs I bought, not that it is a bad disc.

I haven't thrown any of the discs released in 2019.
