There is definitely some variation and messiness between players in the amount of pressure, and the feel can be quite different than the real. Some more efficient than others. SC talks about feeling a majority pressure shift, not necessarily 100% shift.

I think technically the hips are always rotating as they are ball and socket joints, but again the intention or feel can be something different than the real. As soon as any part of the foot pressures the ground, there will be an equal and opposite ground reaction back into the body/hip. Forces(pressure) also happen before we see motion happen. When you plant toe to heel your heel will pull your hip, and pressure moving in the toe to heel(or vice versa) direction is the definition of ground rotational force. Walking is mostly rotational and vertical force.

I think SC explains the feel vs real well here, and this is basically what happens or should happen in One Leg Drill.
