Lets just say I'm not a fan of the way they come off your fingertips. I keep ending up with them in players packs, when asked what kind of disc I want, I'll go with a Roc or Teebird, not knowing they are + molds because it isn't specified. I just hate them, I have beef. Slated rim makes me have to completely re-tune my release point and I don't like that.

How is adding a mold crapping up other molds?

If you don't like + discs, don't throw + discs.
I really like variations on a single mold (X, L, +). Its easier to dial in what you need rather than relying on relatively inaccurate flight numbers and vague names.
It is very annoying that Innova doesn't label the differences most of the time though.

Just ordered 10 of these as CFRs for a tourney next month, all 170-172 because that's the only option they have. I'm curious to see firsthand how they fly.

I do not have any interest in the + discs. They sound problematic. I know someone who had a roc+, it was very high speed stable, but at lower speeds it seemed to fase the wrong way and become unpredictable, almost like a reverse s curve.

"The plus mold features a slightly different/beefire grip in this Eagle X configuration." so they're saying they changed an eagle x? or it is an eagle x?

The wing has an EX profile. The inner rim is slanted.

There is still a regular EX don't worry...

anyone have reports of the CFR runs of the Eagle+? sounds like they've been available at a couple events and MS has a limited selection of them from a recent tourney - link

Because they aren't doing anything for quality control. The eagle now has the Eagle-L, the Eagle-X, and an Eagle-X + mold. That's three diff. molds. And since Innova is hit/miss with their molds per disc, you don't know you're going to get when it comes to stability, even if you get two of the same discs in the same plastic and same weight. So adding more molds is just going to worsen the problem.

The only discs I even like throwing from them anymore are the Destroyer, Teebird, and Sidewinder. I don't think I'll ever get rid of Destroyers/Teebirds, and I'm fine with inconsistency in Sidewinders because if they're more understable than usual, that's fine by me.

Default please look at how old a post is before you quote it and start arguing

You haven't given a single reason why mold variations are bad, harm the original mold in any way, or reduce overall product quality - just that all discs are inconsistent. Not sure why you'd keep throwing any Innova if you regularly experience this much variation. The only unfortunate part is that the mold differences are sometimes unmarked, and may act unpredictably for those who don't pay attention to their discs.
