Read Dan John, American weight pentathlon holder and coach. Read multi Olympic coaches, all I have read agree with me.

Strength training is different from body building.

Eagle already has a high strength to weight ratio, he needs less muscle mass to accelerate his own body. Would proper strength training help him get more distance, yes it would. Although at his current distance, with current course layouts, it probably would not help his score... It would help protect against injuries though.

You can only make fun of someone if you know who they are....

I know. I am a climber. Not sure what "jacked" is but I am not big. 5 11 and 156 lbs. Strong as heck. There are several body types that can make it work though. Just as in disc golf too, even moreso.

And sometimes a kid built like Eagle comes along and waltzes your project...more power to 'em.

I get the comparison people want to make, but Eagle is plenty strong already. We're not exactly moving much weight out there. And obese people can be world class at DG as it is.

Yes big people can be world class, Yeti, Jay Reading Comes to mind wining the Disc Golf World Doubles Championships in 2006 and being 5 time World Putting Champion and wining his last one in Open age only he got the Yeti Avair named after his moniker. Also being 3 time Disc Golf World Mixed Masters Doubles champion.

He is also a good Presenter for his in the bag in the time frame of 2014-2016. He would be fun to see doing the commentary for the on the ground top 3 in score right after rounds in the NT/PT. Not quite what Johnny DiscGolf does but like a right after round not just before the next.

Very informal way in America of saying someone is strong and usually shredded and good looking.

In case shredded does not translate that is when someone has good muscles with very little body fat.

Extra confusing is that saying someone is "jacked" is usually a good thing but if one says someone is "jacked up" it may or may not be good, according to the context.

I should not have used slang.
