I like the idea but winters up north would make the basket unplayable. Good for the southern states if not over used. 1 on a course cool more meh

^ totally agree with this.
Could be interesting if the "pin" placement were atop a mound or berm, less interesting if you played down hill toward the basket.

Gimmicky is missing a putt by 6", getting a rollaway, and taking 2+ strokes from it, while someone missed by 4' and tapped in.
