Default Wrist action importance

New to Disc Golf (played 3 actual rounds over about 4 weeks). I am a Right hand dominate person, but due to a wrist injury from over 10 years ago (removal of bone and plate in wrist), I have a hard time getting my wrist flat, and don't have a lot of wrist snap either. How important are those in creating spin and disc speed. ( I have started playing Lefty and seem to be getting similar and at times more distance than when I through RHBH, but I'm not as accurate with LHBH)

Thanks!!

If you'd like the rabbit hole, this Wrist Activation thread has good discussion/examples:

I like to share this link from post #32 in that thread - a very clear angle on a pro-level wrist (Kyle Klein) through the throw:

Maintaining some tension at the right pec through the hit is important to impart force on the disc and get a "tendon bounce". Depending on how your wrist is doing/tendon integrity etc., it could be learnable or you could find a compensatory strategy. But a lot of people fall into the trap of getting a too loose wrist (like me), or trying to "snap" the disc with your wrist (common advice). Really, it should be a form of "just right" tension through the throw, like you'd have if swinging a bat or throwing a hammer.

Wrist can be made unnecessary in large part. Think of it as you're just looking for the most snap at the point of release as possible.....Doesn't really matter how you do that. There are videos on this that I've seen but I can't remember where, sorry....
