Struggled through a couple bad rounds trying to put it all together today. I was trying to think of everything at once and shanking them. Hit the field after and tried to dumb it down to “be smooth and tuck the left arm.” That got me some great results. One destroyer from this batch went just over 420. By far my farthest ever. Sadly the phone ran out of memory but it caught this one that came pretty close.

Oh and the other thing that seemed to help a lot was my run up was even more angled to the left of my target. Like 10 o clock. Not sure how I feel about moving a direction other than where I want to throw, but it is definitely more comfortable for me that way. Will have to try it on some tight lines and see.

Your disc isn't swinging in close to your center chest.

Yeah that seems to be difficult for me for some reason. Focused solely on getting it in close today and upon review it looks like I could still get in closer.

Probably doesn't help going so fast and moving so far right to left across tee. Try moving more left to right down the tee pad and throwing pure hyzer like KJ below, watch how he swings the disc wide-narrow-wide like a sine wave, rather than a straight line.

Ok grabbed a stack of putters today to try and emphasize slowing down. Honestly wasn’t sure about the wide-narrow-wide thing because it looked a little weird, but I changed my tune after trying it, seemed to help my putters go far without much effort.

Looks a little better. I wonder if your elbow is dropping too low or your arm is in weird orientation, so your elbow bends the lower arm/disc more up/down rather than in/out.

Yeah I think my attempt to throw a hyzer was turning out a little “scoopy.” Old frisbee habit. Some of those probably would have shown themselves to be nose up had i thrown them with faster discs. I will try and get the elbow up and see if the disc comes any closer to my chest.

Having trouble with the elbow thing. Might just be i threw too many discs for my arm today. To clarify, you’re saying my right elbow is too low, so when it bends, it pulls the disc down, as opposed to pulling it into my chest?
