Air Jordan was a good deal for Nike....and Michael

Names sell sport goods....and we pay
We are going to have to disagree on that...

All I see is an overpriced Aviar.

Yes we can disagree

But most sports equipment have players name on them, and big companies pay them well for that
If adidas or Nike see that putting Paul or Paige name on a disc o shirts makes that item sell, that can open a door to “the big money “

The last thing DG needs is "big money."

Do you think that the Fierce is more shallow/lower profile than the Luna, at least in the feel? It looks like it might be.

Also, not a big fan of the name but it’s better than many.
The Fierce is definitely shallower than the Luna. I also find that DD baskets don't seem to like catching it. I've got 3 Fierces and 4 Chally SSes coming to me so I'll be able to give them a good shakedown, as I hope to have them before Wednesday.

The pre-Luna McBeth Prototype was one of the best (if not THE best) putter I've ever tried, so if the 'Pierce Fierce' is anywhere near as good, that'll be a great thing.

And I refer you (plural) to one William Shakespeare about names...

Seeing as how nobody has thrown the production run (first run?) yet, I'd say that's a stretch.

Are you on the DC staff?

Not on the staff no, but part of discraft Facebook groups which have grown quite a bit since Paul joined last year. A lot of people flooded to the test flights which all 1500 did sell out and once people got them and started throwing them did post about how much they liked it. Some for putting, some for throwing, some for both. Just because the production run isn’t out yet doesn’t mean it’s already a well received disc.

Also I talk a lot with someone who is very close to bob julio on the discraft staff. He plays with him a few times a week and gets a lot of inside info.
