My vote goes for Undertaker... Incredibly true, with a soft fade. It's like the Fairway of Buzzes

I'd also say undertaker. Other good options are eagle, teebird and rival

I cover all my fairway shots with a plasma crave and a neutron resistor. I don't have big distance at all. My main distance drivers are a proton insanity and a proton wrath. I feel covered, within my limited abilities. I carry a volt also, unsure why lol

I would say the Cyclone but Discraft was stupid and OOPed it.

Undertaker, TL, TL3 and the Infinite discs Exodus are all other good options.

Went and looked around at my local shop today.

I almost left with a couple of star Eagles. They felt oh so good in the hand and were relatively flat. They had a DX Eagle that was totally opposite of the star ones. It might have been the domiest disc I have ever seen in my life.

Ended up picking up another Discmania Instinct to go with the one I had in my stash. Comparing the Instinct to a Teebird and an Explorer they pretty much looked like the same disc.

Going to play with the Instincts this weekend and see if they kind of settle into that middle ground between the FD and the PD. If they do Ill stick with them for a while and see how I like them.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

There really are a lot of good options these days. Volt, Crave, Eagle, Explorer, and TL would be my picks. I'm not a Teebird fan but they're always a good choice. The Stag might be too understable to cover everything but at your elevation maybe not. Same goes for the Saint but the Saint Pro can make up for that.

Well, after todays round Ive decided on a different plan to pare things down.

What I was carrying for fairway/control shots was the FD and the PD and I also bagged a lone FD3 that I mostly used for utility type shots (rollers, thumbers, etc.)

Ive decided that rather than find a tweener type disc between the FD and PD that would replace both of them, I can actually eliminate the PD and use the FD3 in its place as they both have similar flights.

I took two PDs out of my bag and added another FD3 so basically Ive eliminated one mold and am carrying one less disc.

Tomorrow Ill play a round or two with the FD and FD3 covering fairway duties and see how it goes.

Yeah. It hurt me to say it.

Cool thing is it isnt like I melted down the PDs. They went into the stash for now and could easily make their way back in my bag.

That's the way to do it: take something out and see if you miss it. If you do, put it back in. If you don't, then leave it out. The good news is you're going to have a lot of fun throwing discs as you try the different combinations.
