Default The worst shots you have ever thrown thread

I don't know if this is a thread or not, but if it isn't here you can post your worst throwing stories. My worst happens at valley view hole 4, I always hit the slightly to the right tree when I throw backhand.

I threw on top of a warehouse once that was about 300 feet right of OB fence that was about 60 feet off line. So basically a 400 foot complete grip lock.

I did something similar on an anhyzer rip -- ripped it yes, 400' right of the basket, probably 100' further from the basket than the tee pad. That was fun.

Top 2 are:
Horrible headwind, went about 150 ft forward before a big gust and landed 50 ft behind the tee.
Late release, hit the left limb of a tree about 20 ft diagonally forward/right of the tee, somehow bounces and lands on the right limb. To make things worse, the 2 meter rule was in effect too.

I almost black aced a 400' practice basket, chained out. It was a terrible shot, since I was aiming for another pin.

I slipped doing field work, dislocated my shoulder, and threw my Comet about 8 feet.

And we have a winner

I know from personal experience that dislocated shoulders (particularly the first one) are no fun

Threw one of my worst shots ever just this morning. I had a poor drive so I was left with around 300' to the basket. There was a tree in the way so I was gonna try and flex it a bit and have it come back in. Well, I had a couple of guys watching me so it was hero time. You can guess what happened next. Grip locked it into the ground and it rolled about 150' off line. Luckily I was able to save bogey. One of the most embarrassing throws I've made.

In a semi-serious match play round that I had already won, my teebird drive caromed off of a near right side tree and across to the far left edge of the fairway. The hole was an uphill dogleg left, and I had massive tree trunks blocking the inside line around the curve, so I attempted an insanely high flex around them with a forehand firebird on anny. Well, it fought out pretty early and my shot soared 200 feet straight down the fairway missing the dogleg, beyond the fence out of bounds, over a basketball court, and into a deep muddy creek bed. At least everyone got a good laugh.
