The trick on this hole is to hit the gap, cover some distance, and then finish left. Finishing on the right side can leave an obstructed second shot. Long basket is down a slope with trees and OB in play if I recall.

157 Pro Wraith off the tee (my "overstable" driver lol) and evaluate from there - probably fairway to the long basket, midrange or putter to the short pin.

501 is such a wonderful course, a fantastic combination of challenge and enjoyment.
