Default Making a Discatcher Pro more portable

I now have a Discatcher Pro that my wife bought me for Christmas. The basket is awesome. However, I find that it is difficult to move around the yard. I was borrowing a friend's Mach III this last year while he was touring. It had the standard DGA base with one wheel that made it a breeze to move. Does anyone know of that base will fit on a Discatcher pole? Has anyone else modified theirs to make it more portable?

Do you have a dolly? It will help as long as your backyard isn't rough.

Can't you just pick it up and carry it? It weighs, what, 25 pounds? I've moved mine around a seven-acre lot when designing a potential course.

I mean, a wheel would be easier, yes, but is it worth the hassle of trying to rig up a wheel?

I'm not sure what it weighs, but I'm certain it's more than 25lbs. I'm not exactly a small guy, and I find it pretty cumbersome.

I'd check out a Harbor Freight, see if you can't find a wheel with a bracket, and fabricate something.
I have this same basket, but I only carry it about 20-30' out of the shed and practice putting. I could see how hauling it 300' would be a pain in the ass.

Yeah, sorry, brain fart. I read that as the DisCatcher Sport. Even with the added chains I don't think it's too heavy.

Plus if you're the person with the back yard with the pond in it, anything over 50 pounds deserves something.

Sorry. My fault. Still recovering from the holidays.

I didn't take offense. I Googled it to make sure that I hadn't turned into a giant weakling. More of a sanity test than anything.

Here is my portable basket stand that is designed to set up straight on any type of terrain (hillside, elevated etc.) Each leg is telescopic and can adjust individually on several different angles. Im still working on designing a set off wheels to be at the bottom if the basket that can fold up when you are not needing them. Ill post some pics shortly with the basket attached.
