I count it from the first time I threw a golf disc (and got hooked immediately).

Amen, bro.

I mean, look at me. I've "been playing" for more than 10 years but I'm still only an 815-rated player. Other guys "play" for 6 months and already they're 900+. Sure, it's partially a matter of native athletic ability but OTOH and as Steady Ed would say, "He who has the most fun wins!"

Frisbee Par 27. I figured if I shot a 27 for 9 my first time out I could immediately be competitive as a pro. Then, I discovered players threw bevel edge discs a week later at my first event at Lone Lake.

Start counting after your first "Ace." I would be at 8.6 years then.

Aced hole one at Riverside St. Cloud, MN in the long position my second month playing with an X Express!!!! Witness Jake Schlagk, St. Cloud Open Player..

i still don't play "seriously"

unless i'm seriously trying to stay under a 900 rating

same minus drivers. I signed up for this website about 2 days after I first went out. I didn't play much the first two years.

I count from the first round I played with real disc golf discs, I played my very first round with regular ultimate discs about 10 years ago but didn't play again for 5 years after that.
