mower, car/truck, atv, definitely looks like some vehicle-ish type thing hit it.

i guess a really big animal could do that, but i don't really know how or why that could possibly happen.

Owner said not a person, mower, animal, 4x4, tractor, lightning, or tree limb. it's not obvious whatever it is

So the owner knows what happened? My guess was a vehicle hit it or lightning.

Yah. On the thread I linked to he is making it a guessing game and all of the obvious guesses, everything you guys have said, he's ruled out. I can't think of anything else so I though y'all might be smarter
