I cleared infinite out of the good ones a year or two ago. Always good to check whenever stores get new stock though, Innova had tons of those that never sold.

Most of them are 150 class that you run into, (my 150 is my favorite of the bunch) but I did grab a few that were low 170's. You can even find patent # DX Banshees if you look, and they are in that sweet firm but buttery plastic that everyone loved.

Yeah somewhere between pre flight numbers and post flight numbers (while the patent numbers were still present) the rims started to come out slanted, where earlier they were closer to vertical.

Most of us prefer the more vertical rims.

Light Champ Banshees are cool. They are still OS but you can pop them out there farther. The real heavy ones get a little too beefy for my weenie arm. The one in my bag right now is 166 I think? Sweet Banshee. I never have a problem with it flipping, it's plenty OS.

How do rims of certain mold become plussy over time? Is it related to the age of the mold, different cooling variables, or is it an actual physical change (re-tooling) to the mold? Just curious.

I picked up a stiff PFN Banshee in 148g for thumbers. My first OS fairway-type disc was actually one of the gummy, opaque champ Banshees at 167g, which was great for all kinds of OS shots.

I sought a really lightweight OS fairway for thumbers because of all the talk of thumbers and OH shots being rough on one's RC. I did find however that something about the low weight and possible lack of true beefy overstability robbed me of any ability to push thumbers past 150' or so - it just flips too fast and doesn't penetrate forward like I expected to.

I became used to thumbering a 168ish g FAF FB which flips real slow and is easy to manipulate in the way of release angles and landing zone.

I have come to the conclusion that there is a sweet spot in almost every aspect of disc selection - I tend to have better results from backing off a bit from the extremes of weight and stability. My FAF FB however is perfect, I just think high 160s is the sweet spot for a truly OS utility disc.

My Champ Banshees are 167g. Love 'em at that weight, but I'm curious how an even lighter Banshee would do for me and my noodle arm...

Banshee, Buzzz, and Drone are three discs that will never leave my bag. Give me anything else to fill in the rest of the slots and I'll make out just fine.

Awesome for FH rollers! Among every other shot already mentioned.

I throw my fairways around 300'-320' and I throw my 147g Banshee for a lot, I had a heavier one at 171g (also pre flight with pat #). Even in some moderate wind it doesn't get pushed around, I only throw the heavier one if I want to limit range.
