Default Lake Tahoe to Sacramento to Vallejo

Spur of the moment trip for me and the lady this weekend. Hit up six flags (we have passes) and play some courses new to us.

I live in South Lake, so I have played everything around the lake. But any trip I've made west (Placerville, Sac, Bay Area etc...) I haven't played any disc so all those courses are foreign to me.

So weather is nice right now, and I need some suggestions on courses and if there is any good camping sites.

Thanks!

Lagoon Valley in Vacaville
Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa
Stafford Lake in Novato (the best one in the area)
Benicia Community Park in Benicia (9 holer, but challenging and very close to Vallejo).

Thanks, thanks!

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated! It seems like there is a lot of 9 holers around the Sac area. Any input for the good ones?

Finnon Lake is a must play. The course page needs updating I believe. 20 holes 7 par 4's and 2 par 5's. It's on the verge of becoming my favorite course in Nor Cal. I've played just about every course within a few hours of Tahoe and Finnon is a gem. I'd recommend camping a night if you can. It's kind of out there and takes awhile to play. Napa and Stafford are must plays and don't miss Golden Gate. If you're looking for great golf in the winter play Hanging Oaks in Penn Valley. Its my home away from home when there's white stuff on the ground in Truckee.

I just checked your courses played. You need to play Sierra College in Truckee. Challenging and fun with nobody around.
