Timeless classic...this post could be made today, or found in an old necrobumped thread.

Rocs, pizza, BBQ...they balance out all the nonsense one can find on these forums.

I went out a played a round today with 2 DX multi purpose rocs and 1 JC aviar. Rocs are not for me and red discs are a bitch to find.

What would you like in trade for the Rocs?

I've searched this thread for a while trying to find the answer and I'm not seeing or I'm just not searching the right terms.

I acquired a few Champ Rocs throughout the year (mostly USDGC Rocs, one champ glow, and another random champ with an Oregon Ducks "O" stamp), but not all of them share the same tooling. The USDGC Rocs have the patent number tooling like all my KC and DX Rocs while the other couple do not have patent numbers, list the URL, and the tooling is super close to the rim. They all have "R" handwritten on the bottom like Rocs do (not R+), but I don't understand why they would have different tooling.

Anyone have info on this or any insight as to why they have different tooling? I've never held a Roc+ so I can't comment on whether or not they feel like a Roc+; honestly they don't feel different in hand to my USDGC Rocs. Would there be a way for me to tell whether they're Roc or Roc+?

Almost a year ago I posted about some MF Rocs that have the actual Roc tooling and not the Roc3 stuff. Nobody knew what to make of it. My best guess, Innova isn't as consistent about putting the right mold pieces together as we would like to believe. I've stopped worrying about what rocs are or aren't.

I wouldn't be surprised if both of these odd Rocs I have are Roc+. At one point I had a 10x KJ Nybo swirly Teebird that had Teebird+ rim/CAL tooling so, needless to say, I'm familiar with the weird inconsistencies that can come with Innova. If I get an unseasonably warm and dry day I'm going to have to take them all out and see if they differ in flight at all.

Is there any obvious differences between a Roc and Roc+?

The tooling on the bottom and the plus rim. At least that's what I've been led to believe.
