It's a solid disc! I highly recommend it. Very reliable out of the box.... Straight with some fade at the end and only gets straighter from there

Surge is one of my favorites but it has to be Z, ESP is too flippy and unpredictable for me.

Surge is a great driver. Very versatile. It is really the fastest disc in my bag these days. I stopped carrying Nukes, Boss, etc...Playing heavily wooded courses those discs take too much room to make their flight pattern. If you get a few Surges to different levels of beat they cover so many shots. Forehand drives, hyzer flip, roller, hyzer bombs, and more. Really simplified my bag once I broke a few of them in. Then again I can't throw a backhand 400+ ft. So maybe that is why I like them so much. Not always the best headwind disc though.

Try a blizzard Destroyer, Wraith, or Krait in about 135 all float. Pick your stability and rock it.

I'm trying to leave Innova all together.. That's why I didn't include the Gator in my OS selection or any Blizzard discs in my floating/crap disc selection.. I want to keep an all Discraft/MVP bag.. Although I wouldn't be opposed to Lat64 entering my bag.. Would love to give Vibram a shot.. Prodigy was given it's chance..

If I were you, I would just keep a pro d surge for water shots. That way, if you lose it, you're only out about $6.

Yeah that's what I was going to do. Just in a 150 or less weight so I could get it if I really wanted. I use those crap shots in rare occasions and mostly just for tomahawks.. Figured it might as well be a surge. Just wondering if all 150 class discs float.

aren't proD 150's OOP? but yes it will float or at least is advertised to and I have had other 150's float but never owned a 150 surge just SS and FLX/Z's.

Personally I wouldn't worry much about a floater-- seems like they always float away from the shore and they f' with your head thinking oh I need this disc b/c this water etc...
