Default 2017 bag

Not sure what I'm looking for with this thread but I'll try to update throughout the year. I want to track just how much I changed things over 12 months.

Drivers

AJ destroyer (os)
*D destroyer (straight)
Glow tern (understable)
Champ tern (beat and flippy)

Fairway/control

Sexton firebird
MF thunderbird
S-TB star teebird
Star leopard 3

Mids

Champ king cobra
Champion cobra (straight)
DX cobra (understable)

Putters

Organic $$$ wizard (circle putts)
Fossil wizard (circle putts)
Fossil wizard (slightly softer for off the tee box)
Champ pig

Utility

Star sidewinder (very beat)

Most of these won't change but some at risk of being dropped.

I could cover all driver needs with destroyers, but I have a few extra terns so I figured I'd use those first.

The MF thunderbird might go back to a fresh star teebird.

My understable fairway spot is a mess. I can't really decide on what I want. The Dx cobra covers a lot of the understable shots, so I probably need something straight with minimal fade.

The OS putter/slow mid has been a constant revolving door for me but I don't really mind. These are mostly for flick approaches.
It's back and forth between:
Pig
Gator
Zone

I also have messed with a hawg and Stego. Maybe I'll just work on powering the FB down to make room for a more OS driving putter like the scale or soft N envy.

How did you come to select the mold?

I have seen 1 person throw them and know that they are considered old-school.

The first disc I bought in 99 or so was a DX cobra (still bag it in the summer).

After moving away from gyro, fasteddie inspired me to try the cobra again.

Very underrated mold but probably not for everyone. I haven't thrown a KC ROC in a while but I think the king cobra is pretty similar (maybe).

The old champs and seasoned dx are amazing as well.

Does your Leo3 have quite a bit of turn so it won't fill that straight fairway role?
What about a DX Teebird in there?

The understable mid and fairway spots are tricky. I never saw a huge separation in distance there and tended to go from understable mid to something like a Mongoose or Roadrunner.

It's straight. I just don't love it for some reason

Thought about a DX teebird but I'm too lazy to find one. I probably have something that can work.

I kinda agree that the distance difference isn't much between an US mid and fairway.

It's hard to help you if you won't help yourself.

All the DX teebirds at the store feel like candle wax.

To further add to your OS mid/putter revolving door, the Mortar is a fantastic disc.
