Default Mach lite problem

My friend put away my Mach lite and managed to tangle all the chains in one knot and twist them in ways that are not even possible (not on purpose). How on earth do I get them back in place

Been there.

Patience and a couple of your favorite beers/drinks. Not a drinker? Favorite medicine. Sober? Throw it away.

Might as well improve it while you fix it. Here's a thread about how to mod a Mach Lite to be a bit less forgiving of bad putts and a bit better at preventing spit throughs:

The s hooks at the top only take a little bend from a pair of pliers to unhook, then you'll have to wiggle the chains loose from each other. Good news is there was a thread on here a while back with a mod to pull them in toward the pole, making it catch even better if you putt in tight.. I' d find that link for you if my tablet wasn't acting up.

Edit: thanks for the link!

Thanks all, I’ll work it out. It’s getting better but I still have no idea on how it’s possible for it to have been tangled so bad
