Default New Wham-O Discs?

https://wham-o.com/frisbee-disc-golf-pdga/

New Wham-o discs approved this month apparently. Are they re-releasing the old starter set discs? The plastic isn't great but the midrange disc is excellent...

I looked at the PDGA specs and they're a bit different, though. Anyone seen these at all?

How did Wham O miss the mark so badly on disc golf. You would have thought they would have started out with a distinct advantage. Is there a story or just a classic case of miss the boat.

They tried to play politics with a patent or something to that effect.

Innova are the ones that had the patent. I think Wham-o had (and still has) a trademark on the name "Frisbee" which they won't let anyone else use. Which is why the official name of our sport is "Disc Golf" and not "Frisbee Golf."

Welcome “whamo”, if that is who you truly are. You may have noticed that the disc golf market is relatively crowded. Do you have any plans to stand out from the crowd?

Dear Wham-o guys, good luck on the forums here, we are a often a group of savages when it comes to our equipment so try not to take anything personally.

I am interested in seeing how you guys are trying to fit back into the modern game. Wether that just be as a big box option mainly for newer players, or if you really want to dive in with both feet.

Good luck either way.
