Yeah, I've played it a couple of times now and the "ban" on reviews is starting to become ridiculous. Lift it already!

I hope so, every time i talk to Trevor he kicks review hold further down the road. i'll message him again.

hit him up on facebook or thru his business "the local route" to inquiry why. I thought it was done back in September.

They also just trimmed the bushes on the right side of hole number two I noticed yesterday...they were also digging in the creek next to hole 16 basket, not sure what that was about

The course is way beyond the "I gave it a bad or tentative review because it wasn't done yet" stage. I can understand the wanting to put in a perfect course idea, but in some aspect, the course is never truly done and maint. will always need to be done.

The White tees are pretty challenging. I can't imagine the Gold.

Its brutal tough, you should try it at least once, its humbling. I played it twice from the gold. I shot 69 and 74 (i'm intermediate level) and a couple holes were in temporary short placement due to the water issue. I figure it will take 975-1000 rated players to routinely break par 60. I use to think cypress blues where the toughest in tampa bay, but this layout is several throws more difficult. There are just so many additional unforgiving hazards in play with the gold tees.

The review hold at Oldsmar has been lifted with the Gold Layout opening on Saturday.

a C tier event was held to commemorate the opening of the gold layout.
14 pros and 26 advanced players threw 2 gold rounds.
The best first round was a one under 59 (rated at 1014)
The best second round was an even par 60 (rated at 1023)
based on all the number from the two flights and two rounds. Roughly a 62 (+2) is a 1000 rated round.
