No deal. I make too many putts outside of 25ft for it to be advantageous enough

For me personally, I'd take the deal if it was in the circle (10m.)

Overall, the better a player one is, the less one wants to take the deal. For the pros, putting is the discriminator; the best putters win the tournaments because they make putts from much further out.

For casual players, i.e. not as good, IMHO the approach is more important than the putt, because most casual players (not all but most) are not good putters and need to be closer anyway. So for them, taking the deal and concentrating on close approaches would be the way to go.

I'd probably take this deal myself. Although, like many others have said, it would be disappointing to never hit another long jumper again in my life. The real big ones make up for a couple flubs inside circle one.

No deal. I'm alright enough at running long putts that it makes up for my occasional goofs in the circle. My approach game is garbage though and I frequently leave myself putts outside of 25' too much to make this deal.

No deal at any distance. The certainty would be boring.

Yeah those long putts you don’t expect to make are huge shots of adrenaline when they go in. And they’re the ones I remember for a long time afterward. No way I’m giving that up.

Nope. That would take the sport out of it.

My first thought was I would jump at that chance.......it would defiantly lower my average score............but after thinking about it .....guarantees would make the game boring.

Didn't make any long putts today on the tones would have stuck in a basket but definitely reconsidered the "deal" out on the course. Haha
