I bet the pace of play was great.....and the awards ceremony didn't drag on too long, either.

The A-Tier? Rumor has it they didn't pay out anywhere close to the guidelines.

The B-Tier? Our local club has run a B-tier with 11 pros (plus about 45 Ams). The payout to the pros, with the obligatory $500 added cash, was pretty sweet for such a small field.

I'll bet there's a good story behind the B-tier that is subject of this thread.

I do know that they split this event out to two dates with Pros on one weekend and Ams on another. If they had just done one weekend, no one would have really noticed a 10 player Open field. 10 player Open fields are pretty common.

Hmmm... I guess all my cross-checking of Pwingles posts and PDGA tournament results had me thinking it was as different guy. I have Pwingles as an Advanced Am... and in next week's field. Time to cross check again I guess.

I thought I had this mystery solved!
