Default In My Bag

Figured this is a good way to track my progress. 41, decent speed. I like to max out at 350, happy to average 320 anything more gets hairy.
Played 99-01 then started back up in 2014.

172 C* Viking
172 C* Roadrunner
164 S* FL
(2) 162/172 C* Teebird
(2) 174/176 S* Leopard

178 C* Mako3
180 C* Roc3
(2) 176/178 D* Roc
(2) 173/175 C* Spider

177 B* Jokeri
174 D* Rhyno
166 X* Focus
145 D* Makani
175 P* Judge
(2) 175/175 B* Judge

The RR, (172) Teebird and (174) Leopard are my main drivers. The others do see throws but when needed.
The Mako and Rocs cover most mid duties off the tee. The spiders are for flicks and for sticking woody upshots.
I love my putter selection. The jokeri provides a bit more distance of the tee and has a predictable fade (most underrated disc). The prime judge sees the most putter tee shots. The focus is for 'go for it' shots 75-150' (i would be lost without this disc). The makani is for getting warm and CRAZY turnover shots.

I have been rocking a 12 disc bag the last month because of colder weather. I no longer need all my shots with three layers on.

Dx Rhyno
Dx Aviar p&a (150)
Dx roc
G* rocamunga
Champ roc3
G* tl3
G* teebird

I like the simplicity and your ability to know your limitations!
Also like the 150gr Aviar, a lite-weight disc can come in really handy.

A friend had given me an E envy on Tuesday. I really like the way this disc feels/flies. Had my main bag with me because the weather was warmer and i missed it. I threw it in place of the prime judge. Hmmm.... Gotta find a spot for it. Putter field work is on the horizon, there is an E atom that's wants a chance too.

I can’t speak to the OP spider, my friend has been throwing a pearly old champ spider for years though. Not a lot of glide, but sure seems to be dead neutral. Doesn’t turn or fade, holds hyzers and anhyzers to the ground on the original release angle.

I use them when i want something more than a putter but not as long as a roc. It does find the ground pretty quick... Not a ton of glide. They work great for forehand shots and hold up on windy days.

a dx spider was one of the first discs i ever had.

i had like a wraith, shark, spider, and aviar.

spider is such a great approach disc. dead accuracy and a brick. short range where ever disc. ive had a ton of throw ins with it.

i was curious op thank you.

Changed a few things up. Took out the Viking and the RR and added 2 blizzard destroyers, removed the Mako3 and added a star Roc.
Started dedicating field work to 80% flicks. I can actually throw one with accuracy up to 250 with the destroyers, birds and FL. The mids get decent distance and my putters go straight.

(2) B* 158/158 Destroyers
164 S* FL
(2) 162/172 C* Teebird
(2) 174/176 S* Leopard

180 S* Roc
180 C* Roc3
(2) 176/178 D* Roc
(2) 173/175 C* Spider

177 B* Jokeri
174 D* Rhyno
166 X* Focus
145 D* Makani
175 P* Judge
(2) 175/175 B* Judge

I also tossed my pink bag in the field today (3 tb, beast, fb, thief, hatchet, seer / 2 truth, roc, roc3, spider, stingray, comet, buzz / 3 judge, 2 rhyno, warden, polecat, jokeri, makani)

I'm nerding out pregame. The icy rain has prevented me from throwing before ring #6. I'm going to toss my all Lightning bag on Tuesday for a club round.

The gems include...

(4) The upshots: 2 are 'hi-flex' that i use for putting. They are more shallow than 2 regulars and feel great in the hand. One regular is a glow. #lids
#2 Upshot: great driving putter
Rubber Putter: fun dome

P-51: flippy mid
'Pink shallow mid (not sure the mold)': straight mid, extremely shallow
#1 hookshot: overstable tweener
#2 hookshot: straight mid

(3) #1 Slice: understable drivers, glidey flippers.
#3 Slice: flip monster
#1 Flyer: decent straight distance
D-4: prostyle straight distance, won't fade
Z-1: prostyle beef
(2) #2 Rollers: big fun lids

This bag is fun to throw.
