In the age where 95% of my players register online which gives traceability through the payment systems, this is really a non-issue.

While you're playing under an alias, you can also use overweight discs. At least until the PDGA requires high-quality scales, and an on-site gated portal to keep players from circumventing the mandatory disc weigh-in they impose.

This actually gives me an idea.... I could just pay my buddy (~1000 rated) like $20 to start playing tournaments for me for that ratings boost! Yeeeeeeet

Years and years ago when you still needed a non-playing official to run B tiers I tried to talk the guys in Richmond into buying a membership for a fictitious person and getting them certified to officiate. No luck.
