Default 1st dyes & collection post for future dyes

1st of all love the site.
I have a couple questions.
1 being does it really matter if you dye a colored disc anything except black? I have seen many colored discs with colors other than black, but I still cant help thinking that the colors would mix.
Here's my first dyes.
I cut out the vinyl last night, and dyed the discs today.
The discs with spin art haven't been washed off. Im waiting for the dye to set in but wanted to get the pictures up because im going on vacation.

you can dye colors onto colored discs, sometimes the color of the disc will distort the dye color in the end, but you can do it. here's red on yellow, which works really well.

bunch of colors on a yellow:

Hey peebody, that makes sense. Seems like using lighter lighter discs will work best when doing multiple colors. I like you dyes, is there any sort of archives I can check out for pictures?

Alright Cool thanks, I like looking thru the pictures and getting Ideas. I have a bit of a problem with my spin art. The dye mixture sat for about 3 days and after I washed it off all that was left on the white disc was a faint pink from the red. I made the mixture with alot of dye, but even the black on the orange champion disc faded alot. I'm mixing Rit dye with clear handsoap.

i dont do spin dyes, but i think people add some acetone in it to help it settle into the disc.
