I used my original Champion Pink Panther at least once per round, 5x/week for four years, throwing spike hyzers, tomahawks, into trees, etc., and that thing still flies just as it did the first day I bagged it. I haven't used my Champ Polecat for as many years, but it has hit trees, slid on the ground, hit metal and the concrete bases of baskets, and so far I'm not seeing any change in it. I haven't thrown other Champion discs (such as my Champ Sidewinder) as much, but they never beat in, either.

Ergo, my earlier comment. But if you (plural) can get a good cycle with Champ plastic, power to ya, and it'll last a long, long time. And you're right about losing them: McBeth had his Champ Roc3s the way he wanted them, then someone stole his bag (at the McMorial, I think).

You are not wrong that champ plastic takes forever to beat. Multiple seasons.

Yes my Valkyrie too from 2005 until 2014 to wear out but I had stopped Disc Golf since early 2009 playing regularly. The Disc died fully in 2017 after really starting back up more in 2016. Got the Glow Champion Valkyrie in 2017 that has the same dome as the Champion Valkyrie from 2005. The new standard Champion was at the time in most 2017 very slick and in some discs randomly just stiff for a Champion disc golf disc when new, I had felt the Champion Valkyrie and decided no. The Newer Champion in late 2017 early 2018 was better as I got some Champion Shark 3 in that plastic, The disc felt at bit slick but was gummy like the old Champion from the run in 2005, most like the old early slick Champion (non first stiff slick run) that was no longer SE/Pro from 2004.

But when you lose one....

I still have days when I'll suddenly notice a single, lonely tear tracing a gentle S-curve down my cheek. I'm not ok, but sometimes it's nice to think that I will be.

Hold your iDye JK 5Xs close, fam.

threw my beat dx valk on quite a few holes today

effortless fat turn overs

was carving the wooded holes up and hit a iron twig and my valk kicked hard and was floating on the shore of the creek i thought i lost it

valk was also the third longest drive in my bag on the downhill bomber hole and i threw it at 75 percents

Anybody throw the Mini Stamp series Valks? Ordered one...I imagine they fly pretty close to current run Star Valks.

This is due to the ability of the Valkyrie to fly low to the ground at about 3-3.5 feet and still go far, most other molds need at least 5 feet above ground if not more. Yeah this is why I liked the Valkyrie for a mold was into wind I could throw lower so the disc did not get affected by the wind. Now I use other discs into the wind.

So for a downhill driver shot the Valkyrie would work well, being that the throw for downhill tends to be lower to the ground to avoid being off, unless one decided to do the spike shot or hyzer shot then a different disc works better.
