Im just counting the stuff I actually paid for. Gifts have added more than a few discs to the list. One of the many advantages of throwing gyro is many dislike the feel immediately and give them away freely.

Don't forget about footwear. When I was playing 2 or 3 times a week I was averaging about 2 pairs of disc golf shoes a year.

I've kept track of $ and throws since starting out, played in hundreds of tourneys, won, bought, sold, traded & donated gear, and have thrown well over 2000 miles, and can say with certainty that my net cost to play has been less than a dollar a round.

...and many of my disc golf experiences, friendships and joys have been priceless!

Only played a very few rounds (less than 5 before May 2017 when Gaffneys opened). Lots of reading, very little playing prior.

A few rounds of low-stakes skins.

Buy-in for weekly dubs.

$5 each for two aces.

UV flashlight/glow tape for glow.

The amount the "~" represents in "~ $395."
