Wow...who is Chris Dickerson? I assume it's neither the player from the Blue Jays nor the 1982 Mr. Olympia. Whomever he is, he's hanging tough with the top dogs!

Chris Dickerson is the 2015 PDGA Rookie of the Year out of Tennessee. He's a Prodigy sponsored player with a solid forehand and backhand, and is known to bang more than a few outside the circle putts. I have seen lots of his game via The Disc Eye YT page. Up and comer for sure. 1017 rated.

If history repeats itself we should start the countdown of him leaving Prodigy for Innova/Trilogy in 5..4..3..2.......

Live scoring shows a 17 for a player on hole 13 at the Lake Eureka course. Caddy book shows that the hole is a stroke and distance hole. Isn't this what the PDGA was trying to curtail with their threat of no ratings for events that (over) utilized stroke and distance?

Well if he can hold his position, I think he will ditch the "up and comer" tag. I like seeing new blood, so to speak, at the top of the standings in big tournaments like this. Gives me hope that I may someday move into MPO myself haha

I played hole 13 the other day. That should be an easy 3 for open players, especially if they lay up on their drive. The island landing zone is not that small.

According to UDisc, the open players are having a rougher time than you did. Scores are averaging more than than two throw over par ...

It's pretty windy right now. Laying up gives you at least a 100 feet uphill throw with the wind coming over the lake and curling over the top of the hill, pushing the disc up if it goes too far and down if it doesn't go far enough.

What would be the harm in having a drop zone or two?
