My AvX3 and TP Harp are virtually identical. On full power throws, they both went straight then faded, and the same distance. I'd find them a few feet apart almost every time.

On approaches, they did about the same. The AvX3 might skip a little bit more, but overall, not a lot of difference.

It may just come down to how they feel, if you prefer a bead (Harp) or not (AvX3), and which plastic(s) you like better. Or if you like Paul McBeth or Ricky Wysocki better. Both are excellent discs.
I like beads better, but can't stand Wysocki, so what do I do? If they would make a beaded AviarX3 that would be great, but I doubt they will. XT and R-Pro versions of the AviarX3 would be great though.

I doubt we'll get a beaded AvX3, either, as McBeth seems to prefer beadless putters. But you never know, maybe Dismania will make a beaded eqivalent.

And I do think we'll see the AvX3 in other plastics' including XT, but when and what other plastics, I don't know...

Innova has other players besides Mcbeth. It can't be only about what he wants. Conrad throws a jk pro Aviar.

That's true, but my thesis is that the Aviar3 and then the AviarX3 were created for Paul, or at least working with him to get the overstable approach disc he wanted (and needs, as an answer to Ricky and the Harp). That's not a bad thing, and other pros and amateurs alike get the benefits of it.

Paul and Ricky's games have nothing in common. Vastly different styles. If Paul could throw a Harp he would not use it like Ricky anyway. I highly doubt it's about making a disc for Paul to use like Ricky. Sorry man not trying to bash your theory. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I wasn't saying that Paul's and Ricky's games were or are the same. But at both these players' power levels, they use overstable discs like many ams use straight-stable discs. Paul was trying the Aviar3, and it was going right of where he wanted it to. It appears the AviarX3 is working better for Paul, and we'll see how it goes as the 2018 season gets going...

And Mr. Dave Dunipace has worked with Paul before to create or tweak discs to Paul's needs... McAviar, Roc3, etc. So I would not be shocked to learn they worked together to make the AviarX3, and I for one am glad, as I like the disc, too.

Isn't that what the P3X is for? A beaded AviarX3?

You can probably expect to see a big and small bead version from Discmania and Millennium just like they did for the Aviar3
