Default My disc golf bag is backwards. Yours is too.

I have a couple of Dynamic Disc bags, and an Innova bag. They are both made the same way. The drink holder is on the wrong side!

When I carry the bag, I don't bother to zip it closed. I keep the top open, and I usually put that side of the bag facing me, which puts my putter on the outside and easily accessible. I'm right handed, so I pick up the bag with my right hand and put it on my right shoulder. That means my water bottle is BEHIND me, and I can't reach it. I flip the bag.

That means the putter is against my leg - bonk, bonk, bonk... so I flip it back. Then I want a drink, flip it, etc.

To compensate, I tried putting the bag on my left shoulder. Putter is on the outside, drink is right where it should be... but the bag is on my LEFT shoulder, which feels weird. Anyone else noticed this?

If you are talking about the small satchel style bags that hold 5-9 discs? DGA's is opposite Innova's style. So I kinda get what you are saying. My right shoulder is borked and gets fatigued with a bag over it so I always sling a bag over my left shoulder and would rather have the water bottle to the front.

Normally however I carry a large bag and its fine.

Get used to carrying the other shoulder or look into DGA.

I've got quad shock back straps so both ends of my Innova Tour bag are accessible by reaching back whether going for a drink, scorecard or putter.

I've got shoulder injuries which limit my range of motion and make both drink holders inaccessible. People say I look like an upside-down turtle with my arms flailing in vain at my water bottle.

Of course when I use the cart, the water bottles are just right there.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be, "Men Who Love Their Bags Too Much," ?

I use a packpack bag that has bottle holders on both sides. Since I throw right-handed, I figure that my left side should carry out at least some function. So, I always pick up my bag with my left hand and sling it on from that side, hopefully giving my right shoulder a break from that little bit of wear and tear.
