Seemed like as good of a thread as any to get some opinions. I have recently been messing around with FD3s and damn that is a nice mold. I cannot believe how far they go for the type of disc it is. It is to the point that I feel like it is redundant to carry both FD3s and thunderbirds. Think I can get by with FD3s/TL3s or do you think I need another mold in there to help cover things?

If this feeling matches what you do on the course:

...then you probably don't need to carry the extra mold.

I have been pondering something similar. I bag 2 Firebirds, 2 Thunderbirds, and 2 Teebirds. The Thunderbirds do enough differently for me that I still carry them and would miss them if I didn't carry at least one.

I'd suggest dropping the Thunderbirds for a while and see if you miss them.
