Default Bard vs. Verdict vs. Mortar/Caiman

I'm looking for a OS mid with as large of a rim, and deep a profile as I can (I have pretty big hands). I've thrown a verdict, and its not horrible, but I'm wondering if the Bard or Mortar would feel any better, and fill out my hand better.

I carry both Bard and Verdict. I think Bard is better for what you describe.

I have been on infinite, looking that the exact rim measurements, and it sounds like you're probably right.

Echo PMantle, I read the thread title and my first thought was exactly what your question is, only I prefer the reverse.

Bard/Anchor feel very similar and feel larger and deeper than Verdict or Pine... or Mace for that matter when it comes to the OS Trilogy mids. Even though the Mace has a bead.

The bard doesn't have a bead does it? I'm not really a fan of a bead, but I can live with a small one

It has a bead, but its less noticeable than on for example the Roc. I'm not a big fan of beads myself, but I didnt mind the bead on the Bard

I'm not a fan of a bead either but they don't seem very noticeable it is there though.

I love the Bard, have 7 carry 3 and the bead doesn’t change my grip at all. I like it way better than others mentioned and the Mortar is slower to me. Bard is great as an OS workhorse.

The MD4 is a lot like a Verdict with larger hand-feel. Probably flies better IMO.
