I’ve always thought this also, buzzz throws like a driver, roc more like a putter.

I have never really cared for kc rocs though, either give me dx or a premium one.

Rocs, Harps, Wizards (or BB Aviars) all go great together. Similar beaded feel. Harps fly like glideless OS Rocs. YOu can MASH on a Harp and trust it not to flip where a Wizard or Roc might.

I know what you mean about the Buzzz. I do tend to throw them like a driver which leads to mixed results if I’m not paying attention or I need a touchy mid shot. I’ve been improving my touch with Aviars which ultimately led me down this Roc rabbit hole.

Went to my local shop and course after work, picked up a couple DX Rocs and a KC; I'm converted. I can see myself eventually bagging just KCs, but the give in the DX is surprisingly nice. I had a negative attitude toward DX for a long time but these quickly changed my opinion. Thanks Three Putt and Horsman for the help and showing me the light.

If you need some KCs with some give, get a color glow or two. I might know where to get a couple. 😁

Does the glow add a touch of stability like it does with most other molds? I'm certainly interested either way if it make the KC just a hair softer/tackier.

I don't think so. It definitely softens the disc though.

By "know where to get a couple" I assume you mean you have a couple available to buy??

Yes. I've also got a regular KC Pro. I also know where to get at least 1 Ontario DX, but I don't currently have that one. See my marketplace thread for the info on them.

And if you need a slightly straighter and easier to beat up roc then get a flat top.
