Default Dye for Visibility question

So this brown/purple-ish disc is a major beotch to find most of the time.
I was wondering what color would result if I dyed it with say pink or yellow (2 colors I have right now)....

since you can only go darker (you can't make a disc lighter in color), I don't think pink or yellow would look good. I think they would create a poopy brown color on that color disc, but I could be wrong.

I always spot my pink discs immediately. Once in a while I'll have trouble with certain shades of yellow....not the neon or brighter ones though. I vote pink.

edit: but, if what skinner says is true, obv scrap that idea..

If you want to make the disc more visible, use black dye and do a pattern that covers the ENTIRE disc. Stripes, checkerboard, spirals, something like that. When it's in the leaves or drops in the drink, a pattern dye makes the disc stick out a lot better. I've learned from experience had discs I could never see until I got a simple pattern that contrasts well with natural surroundings.

Hmmm. Not sure that I really want to make the disc any darker with black dye.

I was thinking pink or yellow would make brown, but the disc is already brown so that wouldn't get me very far.

One problem.
Rit does not make white dye.
This is why I refer to bright white Star plastic discs as " blank canvas "

Yeah I think they might just fade into the disc too much, or come out looking a little brown.

I agree with the black pattern suggestion. It should stick out more with some sort of pattern on it.
