I'm not in the Toledo area, but I thought I would give you the heads up on this.

If you ever make it down to Columbus hit me up, I am more than happy to show a fellow DGCR member around my local courses.

I'm from archbold about 45 mins away ,but i play carter a lot ,from bg findlay has a 18 and nine hole course .
there's also Vienna and parmalee both 18 Vienna is the best in the area ,parmalee is a short technical course that's good for short game practice.
Theres also tiffin which is 45 mins away from bg and a course in bascom that is new and I have never played .
Theres also the short dorr st course thats on a school grounds in spring meadows
Ottawa Ohio has a 18 hole course not sure how far that is away but i dont think it's too far

Theres also the redesigned 18 hole course in bryan Ohio which is a hour Away ,I did the design and it's plays long and wooded and will test most players ,if you ever play bryan message me and I'll throw with you

The course at Hedges Boyer in Tiffin is really nice and the park itself makes it a worthwhile visit.
The one in Bascom (Meadowbrook) has potential and it's worth playing if you are in the Tiffin area as it's only about a 15 minute drive in between courses.

I grew up in Tiffin so I get to play both courses during my visits back.

Should be no problem finding disc golf adventures once you get settled in. Don't forget to play a few courses along the way.

I'd recommend discgolfscene.com for finding leagues, clubs, courses and friends in the new area.

hit me up, I live in BG and play often. I play Ottawa, Parmalee, mostly, but findlay's course is close (not great but its there) and within a 45 min jaunt down 75 you'll find a bunch of course. One of the best being ONU's campus course.

I'm in the city proper, where will you be living?

As far as courses, Vienna will offer the most challenge locally. Some open, some wooded, water (potentially) on 3 holes. League Sundays at noon.

Parmalee is very short, but very tight, it will test your accuracy. League Thursdays at 6PM.

Strangely enough, there are 3 Ottawa Parks listed on DGCR, all within an hour and a half from Toledo. Ottawa in Toledo is the only course within city limits. It had a small redesign last year to toughen it up as we lost a sh1t ton of trees. League Fridays at 6PM. Very lightly wooded.

Carter in BG is mostly open but with lots of wind. No league here that I'm aware of.

Hit me up for a round when you get into town.
