Default percent power used on most throws?

I realize that as one gets closer to using 100% of potential power the amount of control and accuracy goes down. With that being said, at what percent of potential power are most of all of your throws? I get that it varies by shot and position and need, etc...I am asking on average where is that window of comfort where you are reasonable confident the disc will fly how you want, end up where you want and travel as far as you want?

Pretty much a "full" throw anytime possible. Not that you are using 100% of your power into any throw besides trying to crush wide open but should always be trying for a full shot (snap/leverage) with less disc and or shorter reachback.

I'd say on a distance shot I'm putting 100% effort and trying to exert 70% of my power. Distance is more relative to how fast you're moving (hence "arm speed" not "throwing power") obviously I dial that down for a midrange shot (which is just slowing down the walk up or standing still altogether) to around 50% on a "full throw" midrange situation I can't say how much power I'm trying to use on most shots because sometimes I am throwing full on from a stand still in a bush. Other times I am throwimg a putter off the tee just for placement of my upshot. Whatever the situation calls for. To answer tour question directly I'd say between 50-70%.

70-80% is my comfort zone. I don't like going below 60%, that's when I feel my form might get different. Above 80% I need to be feeling my form that day, otherwise it's not worth it for me.

^^^ Yep, about 70% effort even for max golf distance, just making the backswing longer or shorter.

70% is my favorite amount of effort to use. But not every shot calls for that. Hence why I dislike a backhand hole less than 250. and in general don't like most par 3s over 375.

A perfect 2 holes for me are a 290 backhand putter straight or a 350 forehand driver flat to hyzer.
